Aim:

To encourage active participation and enjoyment in our natural environment; to share our experience with others.



Time Frame: April 1999 - March 2000



Themes :

1. Exploring Nature

Contributions and reports on the experience of exploring our natural world. Nature walks and exploration, reports on wildlife and natural landmarks/features.

2. Colour of Nature

Contributions with an emphasis on colours found in nature. Suitable media for contributing would include photos, pictures and/or writing and poetry.

3. Living on the Land

International reports on agricultural and horticultural farming methods. The animals children and their families care for and the vegetables or fruits grow locally and at home.

4. Children and Pets

Children are encouraged to share how they care for treasured family pets.

5. Nature Folk Tales

Cultural legends based on or about nature.



Method :

Please feel free to use any method you deem suitable for your Children and Nature contributions. Pictures, photos, sound, text, poetry, song, video and slide shows.

Lynne RalphHi, I am Lynne Ralph, Project Leader for "Children and Nature". This project is deliberately broad in nature to allow for a wide variety of reports and contributions. If you have something you wish to share about your natural environment we would welcome and enjoy the opportunity to share your experience with you.
